Housekeeping Supervisor

"I grew up and lived in El Salvador. In 2009, my family and I moved to the U.S. where I started working in hospitality at a property in Irving, Texas. I worked the overnight shift and then transferred to mornings so I could learn a little more about the Rooms operations. A year later I met my former supervisor, who recommended me to Benchmark. In 2012, I started with Benchmark as a Lobby Attendant and 6 months later I was promoted to Floor Care Tech. It was a good year because I received the Employee of the Month award. The following year in 2013, I won an award that made a big impact on my life called the Best of the Best award. In 2014, I had the opportunity to be a Peer Trainer for my department and in 2015, I became a Training Orientation Facilitator. This allowed me to be closer to the new employee onboarding experience. As the years passed and I started new positions, I was able to be a part of different experiences and opportunities to grow with this company. In 2019, I became a Housekeeping Supervisor! This is just a summary of my experiences with Benchmark. I hope to see you here soon with us, as part of our Benchmark family. I’m from El Salvador and we speak Spanish; I would like to make a brief summary of all I said in Spanish.
